Splish...Splash

We had a great weekend at the water park! The kids had a blast spending all that time with their cousins!

One thing that Steph and I always said is we wanted our kids to be close in age so that they could grow up together and be friends. Even though we don't live by each other, I am thankful for our times together like this weekend where the kids can build memories together.



We just finished eating dinner and the kids were sitting here waiting patiently to get the okay that they could go out and play in the water!




Madi and Makayla had fun going down the slide together....





The lazy river......how relaxing all we needed was the warm sun.....








Myah had a blast going up and down this little slide all by herself.....

GREAT pictures... we had a blast this weekend with you guys! Even though I hate that you don't live in the town next to me... I do love all of our get togethers and the memories we make together.

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. This is our third year with an artificial tree which is definitely less messy but we have had lots of fun with the pre-lite l

1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
