Breakfast on Saturday morning!

The best thing about breakfast on Saturday morning is I don't have to make it. I'm not sure when this started but several months back, Jeremy decided he wanted to make pancakes and I think he has done it ever since. It is a nice little break from the kitchen for me.

And by the way, the girls and I think he makes the best chocolate chip pancakes!

And nice touch on the smiley face pancakes. At least that's what they looked like to me. But I'm a happy-go-lucky sunshiney kind of girl like that. :)

My dad made us chocolate chip pancakes every Saturday morning too! Still does if you let him! His favorite thing was to add a new ingredient and we had to guess what it was...I guess we were a little older at that time. :)

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
