Does the picture give it away....we headed out to the Apple Orchard this weekend! Jeremy's parents came out on Sunday and after church we headed out to pick apples at the orchard. It was a beautiful day, perfect for doing something outside! So now that I have all of these apples in my fridge I have been busy making applesauce. The girls helped me last night make an apple dessert, we have been having lots of fun together in the kitchen! I have to say that Fall is my favorite season! Today was a perfect cool day to be cooking in the kitchen!

This weekend we surprised the girls and took them to Splash Universe, which is an indoor water park. They knew we were doing something special but had no clue what. We left after church on Sunday. They were pretty excited when we pulled up and they saw where we were. We had a great time. IT was the perfect time to go it wasn't very busy at all. In fact on Monday we had the place to ourselves for about an hour or so and even where we weren't by ourselves there were only a couple other families there. On Sunday night they were hosting a Ski Ball Tournament so we signed up and it ended up being just our family playing, which was fun. I suppose Jeremy was the winner, but if you go by who got the most points then that would have been me that won, but that's okay really I am not upset about that at all! They actually had real prizes, $5.00 in tokens for the arcade and free ice cream for the ice cream shop, so we were pretty excited! Thanks to Marissa for taking this pi

Over Labor Day weekend we headed out to the zoo for the first time this summer. Usually we go to the zoo a couple of times during the summer but this summer just seemed to get away from us way too fast! As I am sitting her posting these pictures I am grateful I have the pictures to post. We stopped for ice cream while we were there and set the camera down on the table well next thing I know we are looking at the eagle and Jeremy says "Oh the camera, do you have it" and I said "No, you had it last" and next thing I know he takes off running back towards where we were eating our ice cream. While I was waiting for him to get back, I kept looking at all of the people there at the zoo that day and praying, please Lord let our camera still be sitting there!!! We surprised my friend Kelly for her birthday, okay so maybe we didn't surprise her but I don't think she knew we were going to be dressed like we were. It was fun shopping for my 80's outfit for the evening. I went to the Goodwill thinking I would find everything and couldn't find anything, then I went to Wal-Mart and got the whole outfit there, see if only I would have hung on to some of those clothes I wouldn't have to re-buy them now. Who would of known that some of that stuff is back in style! The girls thought I looked pretty cute, I even crimped my hair, they kept asking me if I could do that to their hair. It was a fun night!

Myah likes when her sisters are at school and she is the only one here to give Molly a treat. Usually we have to take turns giving Molly a treat because everyone always wants to give her the treat. I think this day Myah walked out with the jar of treats and then asked me if she could give Molly one. As you can see Molly knew what she had there was no way I could say No now. The girls love Molly and most of the time I think the feelings are mutual. Just this morning Myah was holding Molly and I said "don't let Molly lick your lips, that gross" and Myah said, "she didn't she licked my teeth" oh nice. Don't worry I made her go and scrub her teeth!!!

As you can see I am playing a little catch up with my blog. We took the girls miniature golfing a few weeks back one Sunday afternoon. They seemed to have fun, although Myah was done after a few holes and didn't quite get the concept because every time after she would hit her ball, she would walk down to where her ball was and pick it up and then put it right by the hole so she could hit it one more time and this time right into the hole. Her sisters were good sports and didn't mind her doing this! Yes....my husband did bring his own putter with him, I don't know what the difference is, but apparently he does so I don't even ask anymore.

There is nothing like a little rest and relaxation at the lake. We are very thankful to our friends who offered us their home for the week!! It was so peaceful there, we had such a great time. We ate all of our meals outside by the lake enjoy the beauty of God surrounding us! We were able to rest and catch up on some reading and just enjoy our time together with our family! We also were able to enjoy our time up there with some friends. We have now been home for almost 3 weeks and school is back in session which means we are also busy with soccer and youth group. I meant to post our pictures as soon as we got home from vacation, but we got so busy with getting ready for school I guess time just got away from me. Believe it or not we took over 800 pictures on vacation, how crazy is that. Of course there were a lot that got deleted but still, it takes a while to go through that many pictures!
