Simply-Victorious

Last week, Makayla's school had Grandparents Day. We were very thankful that it worked out that Grammy and Grandpa were able to come out for the day. Makayla was glad to have them there with her at school! Each class did a little program for the grandparents in the gym. Here are a few pictures from Grandparents Day. Here is Makayla with her teacher. Here the girls are looking through their American Girl Doll catalog. They usually do this about once or twice a day. They have been saving their money for some time now, and can hardly wait to go and buy one!

Nana & Papa came out to visit us today. It always seems like our visits are way to short but we were glad to have them here! The girls were really excited to see them. I think as soon as they got here Myah asked Nana to play barbies with her. That seems to be her favorite thing to do right now! After lunch, the guys played a little Tiger Woods on the Wii, I won't mention who won that! (Sorry dad) Nana and the girls played barbies. Then we had to show them Guitar Hero. The girls like to try and play, of course there are only a few songs and a few characters that they can even use on it. Jeremy and I like to play that after the girls go to bed and yes it is addicting even for me! The girls put on a puppet show for me and Nana. We had some cake and opened gifts!! Incase some of you reading this are wondering who Aunt Duffy is, that is Jeremy's sister. I guess when Jeremy was little he couldn't say Stephani it always came out as Duffy. So since the girls have 2 Aunt Stephanie's they started calling the one Aunt Duffy. We had a great weekend with our Aunt Duffy. We celebrated Christmas with her since she wasn't able to make it out for Christmas this year. Here is a picture of the girls wearing their new baby backpacks that they got from their Aunt Duffy. We kept busy this weekend by playing some Wii, shopping, watching movies and playing a little Farkle, which is a fun dice game incase you have never heard of it, we learned with my sister and her hubby. We had a great visit with Aunt Duffy, thanks for coming out to see us!!

Our friends The Glinski's came out to visit for a couple of days. The time flew by, but we had a great time catching up with them and the kids all had a blast playing together. Here are a few pictures from their stay. I couldn't figure out why first thing in the morning their kids were asking to go and play outside, then it dawned on me they don't have any snow right now in Virginia. M & M are only a few months apart! They built a girl and boy snowman that afternoon! and when they came in from playing outside they had some hot chocolate! Even Molly had a friend, Jake...they actually got along well, I'm not sure what Molly actually thought about her new friend she just followed him around! When they weren't outside they were inside playing Wii Group photo....smile Thanks for coming to visit, it was great to see you guys!
