Simply-Victorious

Tonight was our first Daddy Daughter dance. There were two girls at our house that were pretty excited about getting to go with their favorite daddy! They have been talking all week about which dress they were going to wear and what to do to their hair. They came home with lots of new dance moves, okay not really, but they did come home very happy to have spent the night with their dad! While they were gone Myah and I got to share some popcorn and watch a movie and then play a couple of games. Maybe next year daddy will be taking 3 girls to the dance. Myah always has kisses for us!!

Last weekend we went to our local library for a friendly Halloween Party. They had face painting, games and a craft. Then upstairs they had a "haunted" walk through the library for kids in 3rd grade and up. So Jeremy and Marissa waited in line for almost 2 hours. Marissa was so disappointed afterwards, she said it wasn't very scary and was upset that she had to miss everything else. It did seem a little strange to be in town and have something going on on a Saturday night. There were all sorts of people out that night! It almost felt like we were back in the city!

Fall is my favorite season ! Most of my friends know that I start decorating my house for Fall in September because I enjoy fall so much! It was absolutely beautiful today on our drive out to the orchard. So I started taking pictures and wanted to share them with you! Hope you have been able to get out and enjoy a little bit of fall too!

Since today was going to be such a beautiful day I decided to do a little research on the internet and find out where we could spend the day doing fun fall activities. I found this great Farm that offered hay rides, corn maze, petting zoo, apples and apple cider and apple donuts and a pumpkin patch . Since Jeremy had been gone all this week it was nice to spend the day with just our family we all had a good time! Here are a few pictures from our day. Walking through the corn maze... Following the leader..... Notice Jeremy is in charge of the map and I am in charge of the pictures. Well I can't say we made it to all 10 posts....but we still had fun in the maze! Myah told me she wanted to take her corn home to cook. Everybody got to pick out a pumpkin...notice the one Myah has it is called a Super Freak..seriously that is what they told us the name of that kind of pumpkin is. My 3 little pumpkins!

We had another great season of soccer! Marissa has really enjoyed playing and was sad that it was her last game today! I remember our first year playing soccer and freezing while we sat and watched the last soccer game it is hard to believe that today it was almost 80 outside. Who's complaining, not me!!! Here are a couple of her faithful fans........ Here is Marissa with one of her best friends. They have played soccer together for the last 3 years! Makayla was so excited to tell me a couple of weeks ago that she had a wiggly tooth! Last night she came running inside with a look on her face I asked her what was wrong and she said she had to go and look at her tooth. It was very loose and I finally talked her into letting me pull it out. She wasn't too excited about that at first but then I told her if it comes out today then the tooth fairy will be coming tonight. So she let me pull it! She already told me this morning that she has another tooth loose. I forgot how exciting it is when someone looses a tooth!
