Where did our summer go? I can't believe it but today was the girls 1st day back to school. Makayla started Kindergarten today. Her first "real" day of school will be on Thursday. Today was a shorten time where the parents got to go with. The parents went to the gym to go over all the fun policies and procedures of the school while the kids were getting to know the teacher and then the kids went to the gym while the parents went back to the classroom with the teacher. Makayla is pretty excited about starting school. She is even more excited about getting to ride the bus with her big sister and her friend Sydney. Makayla has the same Kindergarten teacher that Marissa had. This is a picture of Marissa standing outside her school. I took this today after school when we picked her up. Some friends from church offered us a few days away at their lake home so we graciously accepted the offer and were so glad to get away for a few days. We had planned to go on a family camping trip after Jeremy got back from his missions trip but when this opportunity came up we thought this sounded like way more fun! Here are a few pictures from our time there. Thanks again Kevin and Stacy for letting us stay, we had a blast! The girls had so much fun on the boat, and were not scared of the water. One night we drove the boat out to the middle of the lake and all jumped in and went swimming, with our life jackets on of course! We are still laughing about this picture. One of the nights we were there the jet ski died while Jeremy was out with it, so it had to be towed back by another boater. Well then the very next night something happened to the boat, and the boat had to be towed in by another boater as well. We were already wondering what the neighbors were thinking and wonde

I can't believe how easy Myah has been to potty train now that i finally stayed with it. She likes all the attention she gets from her 2 big sisters when she goes like the big girls. She is doing a great job!!
