Family

Image
On Sunday the kids were a part of KidStuf at our church. Since our families were already in town for Myah's birthday it worked out great for most of them to stay and watch the girls. It was really nice to have all of our family together at church. We don't get that opportunity very often. We took a few pictures before leaving for church. Myah and her Aunt Duffy Didn't have to ask the girls to smile here Grandparents are special people! Cousins are so much fun! That is a pretty good looking family! Myah loves her cousin Austin!

Yummy Dora Cake

I asked Myah what theme she wanted to have for her birthday, it didn't take her long to think about it, she said Dora. Believe it or not this is the first Dora birthday we had, I thought for sure I had done Dora with one of the other girls but there are no pictures to prove it. Thanks to my good friend who made the cake for us. It was really yummy! Myah and Papa enjoying some birthday cake together!

Gifts

I think we forgot to have the talk with Myah this year before opening presents. She ripped through each present very quickly. Really my kids do love getting new clothes, but for some reason, when Myah opened anything that had clothes in it she immediately threw the clothes on the floor and went for the next gift. She loves all of her gifts, even the clothes, she has worn most of them by now. Thank you for all of the nice presents!!!

It's a party!

This weekend we had all of our family out to celebrate Miss Myah's birthday. We had a great time spending the day with everyone. Myah was so excited that everyone was coming out to celebrate her birthday! I think this early celebration has her a little confused though because she thinks she is already 4. Thanks to all of our family for coming out and spending the weekend with us!! We enjoyed having all of the family together! Here are a few pictures from our day. GAMES: The weather was beautiful outside which worked out well for our obstacle course we created in the backyard. BINGO Stayed tune more to come from the birthday party........

Happy Birthday!

It's hard to believe my baby is 4 today! We are so blessed to have her a part of our family. I really can't believe how fast times goes by. I was just telling Myah today about when she was born that it was on a Saturday and how everything worked out for all of our family coming to be a part of it. In some ways that seems like so long ago and in others it seems like it was just yesterday. Myah has turned out to be such a special addition to our family. She is so lovable. She is always wanting to give us all hugs and kisses. In fact sometimes while we are sitting at the table eating dinner she jumps down and walks over to one of us and says I want to give you a hug, completely out of the blue. I hope she never stops doing that!! Happy Birthday Myah we all love you very much! These 2 do a great job at being the big sisters. They love their little sister!

Just Because

I took these pictures on Halloween and thought they were too cute not to post. I can't believe it is November and we are having such nice weather. I love it!! Although I hear the nice weather will be ending soon!

Trick-or-treat?

What a good looking group of cheerleaders we had! We didn't even plan this, but all the girls decided that they wanted to be a cheerleader. There was definitely lots of giggles and smiles coming from these girls as they ran from house to house. It was a great night to be out, the weather was perfect!

Square Dancing!

Image
In first grade they teach the kids how to square dance. Makayla has been so excited about doing this, although several days she came home from school and told us how she had to dance with a boy, she wasn't so excited about that. Here's Makayla and her best friend. Don't they look cute! They can't wait to start dancing! They did 2 different dances....so Jeremy got to go first. Then it was my turn....we had so much fun! Makayla was pretty excited to have us both there. By the time Myah gets into first grade we will be pros at this!

Our Jack-O-lanterns

Last week we carved our pumpkins and roasted some pumpkin seeds. The girls had fun digging in the pumpkins and picking out the seeds. Although Myah wasn't so sure she really enjoyed getting her hands all messy. Then the girls decided that was enough of this and left to go play in their rooms while Jeremy and I sat and carved the pumpkins.
