Camping Out

Jeremy thought it would be fun to set our tent up in the backyard for him and the girls to sleep in on Sunday night. As we got to watching the weather we decided that maybe we should camp out in the family room instead. Good thing we did because sometime early this morning it was raining buckets outside.


So after we got home last night from our last Graduation Open house..... we set up beds in the family room, popped some popcorn and watched Narnia. It was almost midnight before it was over and the 2 older girls were sleeping but not Myah she was still wide awake and she was the first one up this morning. I guess she doesn't need much sleep or at least she thinks she doesn't.

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings. I know that there are many of you who at one point or another have said to me that you have read our blog, I am just curious who is out there and reading this.
