Soccer

Marissa started spring soccer this month and is really having fun. The best part of it is that her dad is coaching her team. She thinks it is so cool to have her dad as her coach. I think it is great for them to have something to do together! The other day on the way to practice she said, "Dad if you need to have someone show the team something just call on me".


The other night at practice I got to try out our new camera, all I can say is WOW. It is ten times better than our old camera!!! I can actually zoom in and see the kids playing on the field instead of taking a picture and wondering if that is really Marissa because it is so far away. Here are just a few pictures from soccer.

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. This is our third year with an artificial tree which is definitely less messy but we have had lots of fun with the pre-lite l

1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
