Happy Birthday Bash

This past weekend we met my sister and her family at Splash Universe to celebrate a few birthdays. We had a great time, it was the perfect indoor water park for our kids ages. We even said maybe we should make this an annual event!


Notice our cake is a water slide cake.....it was very yummy and very cute!



Happy Birthday Austin - Can't believe you are going to be 10!



Marissa loves her clothes and new purse from Nana & Papa!




Just a couple days before her birthday we were in the store and Marissa said I really want this, she didn't know that her Aunt and Uncle and cousins had already gotten it for her, she was pretty excited!




Here is where the kids slept, we had a bunk house suite. You may think, oh I bet they didn't sleep much, but by the end of the night they were so beat they all slept well including the adults!!

I definitely think we should consider making it an annual May birthday event. Except now that I'm 30 we'll just celebrate Marissa and Austin's b-days... no more of mine!!!

OK, Marissa. Can you pull that Barbie golf cart behind your Barbie Camper? And if so, do your barbies have gray hair and live in Florida half of the year?

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
