Home Sweet Home!

While Jeremy was in Honduras me and the girls headed out to my mom and dad's house. It was nice to be home and well taken care of while Jeremy was gone. This trip we decided to make a "to-do list" of all the things we wanted to do while I was home so we wouldn't forget anything. I have to say that we did get just about everything done on the list. Not only did we do a lot of shopping, like we always do because there is no where to shop back here. I was able to catch up with a few friends, see a couple of movies head out for a fun filled day at the beach visit a huge dairy farm and just be able to visit with family!
I can't believe how fast our time home went. I have to say I was a little sad to be packing up my van to head out, although I was very anxious to get home and see my hubby and have my family all back together again!
We had a great time at home - thanks again for having all of us!!! We miss you!


I took this picture before Jeremy left on his trip.....the girls really missed their daddy while he was gone! It was good to be able to daily follow the blog to see what they were up to!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. This is our third year with an artificial tree which is definitely less messy but we have had lots of fun with the pre-lite l

1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings. I know that there are many of you who at one point or another have said to me that you have read our blog, I am just curious who is out there and reading this.
