House Guest

Last night we met my mom and sister and niece and nephew for dinner at Pizza Hut. It was a nice treat to have dinner out with my family, since that doesn't happen very often. After dinner we headed home with Madi for a few days. The girls were so excited to have their cousin here to stay with them. Although this time it is a little busy around here with packing and getting Jeremy ready for a 10 day missions trip to Honduras and us going home, I think the girls are still having fun even if we don't have lots of things planned.

When we pulled up in the driveway last night, Marissa was jumping up and down and waving, she had to stay home because she had practice at church for KidStuf. I didn't mention to her that we were also going to see Nana, because I knew she would had been really sad about not getting to go. As soon as we got home her and Madi ran to each other and gave big hugs!!!

Austin....we miss you, so far the girls have played barbies and school and dress-up, so I'm pretty sure you would have not enjoyed being here today. We will see you soon!!!!



Madi decided she would sleep with Myah last night, which was so sweet, because Myah was pretty sad that no one wanted to sleep with her. This morning I heard the girls all giggling at about 6:30, yikes!!! I went in their room and told them it was too early they needed to go back to bed, I think that lasted about 20 minutes and then they were all up and ready to go.

Well even though I'm sad without Madi here with us the smiles on their faces make me happy to see they are having so much fun together.

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings. I know that there are many of you who at one point or another have said to me that you have read our blog, I am just curious who is out there and reading this.
