Fly-in

It has become part of our 4th of July tradition to go to the annual Fly-in breakfast at our local airport. It's hard to believe that our little town actually has an airport, but we do and it is right down the street from our house.


We meet our friends, the McCashens, up there to walk around and see some of the planes. One of our other friends actually has an airplane so he took Jeremy and Kyle up for a ride. Jeremy took the camera with him to see if he could get any good pictures from up above.

Myah was waving to all of the planes as they drove by....



All the kids seemed to enjoy seeing the planes....


This is our street, we are the 4th house on the left, it's really kind of hard to see, you really have to count driveways. Our house is the first driveway with a car in it.

Micah loved it most. Last week he had us make paper airplanes for him every day and he kept telling us, "My dad is in this plane!"

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
