Our friends in Indy

Last weekend me and Myah and Makayla headed out to Indy for a quick trip to see our friends. We decided that Marissa should stay at home so she didn't miss any swim practice.

I am so glad that I was finally able to meet little Cassie. She is such a cutie and a good baby!

The kids all had fun playing together while Vicki and I enjoyed catching up with each other! Our trip was much to short, but I was glad that we were able to go. Hopefully we will be able to get together again sometime this summer!


Myah keeps asking me, even before we went out to Indy, when does she get to be a big sister, I think she would be a great big sister, but I'm pretty sure that won't be happening anytime soon!


Vicki took us to Avon Perennial Gardens which was a beautiful place to take pictures. The kids did pretty good considering it was pretty hot and muggy out!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
