Kindergarten Graduation!

This week was the last week of school for the girls. So Makayla has no officially graduated from kindergarten. Here are a few pictures from her program. I have been wanting to post these all week, but we have had a very busy week! Lots going on!!



Once the curtain opened the kids all started looking for their parents and waving as you can see. We could tell that Makayla could not find us.....she looked and looked and they even sang a couple of songs and she was still looking, I felt so bad I could tell she was starting to wonder where we were.....so finally Jeremy stood up and waved and then she got a big grin, she had finally found us!


Their shirts were so cute this year, they each got to write their own name and then draw a face, so on her shirt are the names of all of her classmates.


Marissa was in school so she wasn't able to come and watch the program, but Myah was pretty excited to be there!

Makayla had a great year and is looking forward to eating lunch at school next year. She did say that one day she wants to be a teacher and her favorite thing to do at school was snack.

Our babies are growing up! And I totally love those shirts. Even I, the least sentimental of them all, would stash that shirt away for long-term storage!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. This is our third year with an artificial tree which is definitely less messy but we have had lots of fun with the pre-lite l

1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
