Part II of Vacation

Part of the reason I haven't blogged in so long is because I have so many pictures to post. Tons from vacation then there are a couple of birthdays and who knows what else I have to post. So....some of these pictures are in random order, but hey I am posting pictures that's good right?!?!


I love when we are on vacation and find someone who is willing to take a family picture for us!

One afternoon we decided to head to an outdoor shopping center. The girls each got a little bit of money to spend, so they were pretty excited! Then that evening we enjoyed a nice dinner out!

Jeremy didn't want to ride the merry-go-round, so he sat and waited for us girls. I think he is probably checking his BlackBerry while waiting for us.

Yes....I know it has been quite some time since I have been on here to blog. From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. This is our third year with an artificial tree which is definitely less messy but we have had lots of fun with the pre-lite l

1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings. I know that there are many of you who at one point or another have said to me that you have read our blog, I am just curious who is out there and reading this.
