Our View

Here are some of the views we had from our balcony. We had a great location and even though we weren't right on the ocean we could still see the ocean from our balcony, it was great!


Here is a view of one of the pools in our building. There were a couple of pool in each of the buildings and a lazy river that you could use.





























The first day we were there, there were actually tornado warnings out. We weren't sure if they were for us or not? We went down to the pool that morning because it didn't look very bad, but it was very windy. Soon after we got back up to our room it started pouring out. It was actually kind of fun to watch the storm clouds roll in!
After that, it cleared back up and it was a beautiful day outside!

Yes....I know it has been quite some time since I have been on here to blog. From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. This is our third year with an artificial tree which is definitely less messy but we have had lots of fun with the pre-lite l

1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings. I know that there are many of you who at one point or another have said to me that you have read our blog, I am just curious who is out there and reading this.
