Chucky Cheese

While we were home we planned a little birthday party with our family for Makayla at Chucky Cheese. It is hard to believe in just 1 more week she will be 6, yikes time sure does fly by! She was so excited to go and had so much fun with all of her adorning fans that were there with her. I'm pretty sure the parents all went home with headaches but the kids had a blast! Here are some pictures from the party!
That morning we had all of the kids pictures taken together, which is why they are all wearing matching pink shirts!!
Austin was having fun playing Ski-ball.....

Here's the proof even the big kids were having fun......

Makayla was glad to have her daddy help her win some tickets so that she could go and pick out some junk, I mean valuable prizes.....

I think that Chucky was telling Myah sorry for stepping on her while he was doing his birthday dance......

We were trying to get Makayla to go and see Chucky, but she was a little hesitant to do that.

Thanks to our family for coming out and making it a special time for Makayla!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
