A skating good time!

Before we moved we had a skating party for all three girls. Actually when we told the girls we were going to be moving back in August one of the questions Makayla had was could she celebrate her April birthday before we moved with all of her friends in Ohio. So that got me thinking it would be fun to have one big skating party where all the girls could invite their friends and have some fun.

I have so many pictures from this but as I got looking through them I noticed I have a lot of dark pictures, and somehow I did not end up with a picture of Makayla and Syd, not sure how that happened.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made this a special memory for my girls. Believe it or not they still talk about this!!!!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
