Day 5

Well there aren't too many pictures from Day 5 because we spent that day driving home in the van. The girls did really good traveling. It ended up taking us 10 hours to get home from my grandparents, but it didn't seem like it was all that long. There were lots of movies, lots of snacks and several potty stops. The girls started getting a little out of sorts towards the end of the trip, so we just stopped at the next rest area and everyone got out and we played tag. I think after we got back in the van the next time i looked 2 of the 3 girls were sleeping.

We had a great time with our families and it was really so good to see them all! The girls had a blast and are talking about all their "new" cousins. It is always sad to say good-bye because we know that we don't get to see everyone as much as we would like to. The girls have lots of fun stories that they are still talking about from this trip. We will always hold on to the memories and the pictures and look forward to the next time we will get to see everyone!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
