Easter

Since my "blog" sent me a friendly reminder that is was time to update it with some current photos, I thought I better get busy. I have been meaning to update with our Easter pictures and our vacation pictures but I have so many that I think I am feeling a little overwhelmed, so I just haven't done anything at all, well I haven't done any blogging that is, I have done plenty of other things lately!




Here are the girls Easter baskets. We did this on Sunday morning even though Daddy was already at church. Makayla came in my room that morning and said I guess the Easter bunny is not coming to our house until tonight because I didn't see our baskets, that tricky Easter bunny put their baskets by the front door!

Here are the girls in their pretty Easter dresses they got from their Grammy, thank you!











We have some very good friends who have become like family to us here. They always make sure that if we are home on the holidays with no family that we are always welcome over to be a part of their family gatherings!

After dinner they had an Easter egg hunt for the kids....it was a nice day to get to hunt eggs outside they also had some more eggs hidden inside too! The kids always have fun
hunting for eggs!!!!

I think it's the "end of the school year madness" that's got us all a-runnin'. Oh, and three kids...and it's nice out...and your hubby's been gone...

Anyway. Those dresses are darling, and their haircuts are darling, and esp Myah's hair in the matching-dress picture--she is just so cute cute cute! Gotta love that age!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
