Our Weekend!

This past weekend looked like a winter wonderland. We got a lot of snow, but that didn't stop Aunt Duffy from making a visit. She was suppose to come out on Friday and saw that the weather was not looking good so she came out the night before. We were glad she made it. We spent the weekend doing lots of beading, playing games and watching movies. We had a great time!













We don't have a snow blower...... but we do have friends with a pick-up truck and a snow plow.
I think Jeremy was glad to have some help!

Great to have company during a storm!

And, it was nice to feast my eyes on that snow plow. I was dreaming of the sight of one not too long ago.

So, glad Steph made it out there ok. She was so looking forward to spending time with the family, and didn't want the snow to keep her from going, good thing she left early. Glad you all had a good time, thanks for updating the blog. Steph had some really cute pictures on her camera, your daughters are adorable!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
