Just yesterday Myah our youngest said to me, "Mommy I don't want Jesus to die". The good news is today we celebrate that He is no longer dead, He has risen! Here are a couple of pictures of the girls all dressed up in their pretty Easter dresses. Thank you to my mother-in-law for getting the dresses for the girls! They look so pretty! I hope that you all have a blessed Easter celebrating the Risen Savior!

The girls have been asking me all week, when do we get to paint our eggs . So last night while Jeremy was gone to church for a meeting we decided we would paint our eggs. The girls always have so much fun doing this. They get so creative with their painting. At first it was just dip the egg in one color and then be done, but by the end they were dipping the top part of the egg in one color and the bottom half in a different color. Then they started dipping their eggs in all the different colors. While painting our eggs we were able to talk about how eggs represent new life. Easter is all about new life because of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross we have new life in Him. I'm so thankful the story doesn't end with Jesus dying on the cross, 3 days later He rose again. Another fun thing we like to do with our girls at Easter are the Resurrection Eggs . Last week, Makayla's school had Grandparents Day. We were very thankful that it worked out that Grammy and Grandpa were able to come out for the day. Makayla was glad to have them there with her at school! Each class did a little program for the grandparents in the gym. Here are a few pictures from Grandparents Day. Here is Makayla with her teacher. Here the girls are looking through their American Girl Doll catalog. They usually do this about once or twice a day. They have been saving their money for some time now, and can hardly wait to go and buy one!

This summer the youth will be going on a Missions Trip to Honduras. Since Jeremy likes to take an advance trip before entering new territory with 30 plus teenagers, he headed out this morning for Honduras. He left at 4am to head to the airport to catch a plane to Atlanta and then there he will board another plane and head over to Honduras. Once they get in Honduras they will board one more plane which will take them to their final destination. It will be a long day of traveling, so you can keep them in your prayers! Thirty three years ago this little girl was born to first time parents Daryl and Connie. I can only imagine what emotions they must of had to be first time parents with this little bundle of joy that God had blessed them with. I'm sure they were excited and nervous all at the same time. I guess I have a better picture of how they might had felt then now that I have three girls of my own. I wonder what hopes and dreams they had for their little girl. I am so thankful that God gave me to my parents. I am sure there were times that I brought them joy and I am sure there were many trials there too (especially during those teenage years). But, now as I am an adult and a parent I am blessed by them. I enjoy seeing them spend time as Nana & Papa with my girls. Just taking that time to invest in my kids lives. I am thankful that they taught me what it means to have a real relationship with Christ so that I can pass that along to my girls. I am also thankful for the many traditions that...

Nana & Papa came out to visit us today. It always seems like our visits are way to short but we were glad to have them here! The girls were really excited to see them. I think as soon as they got here Myah asked Nana to play barbies with her. That seems to be her favorite thing to do right now! After lunch, the guys played a little Tiger Woods on the Wii, I won't mention who won that! (Sorry dad) Nana and the girls played barbies. Then we had to show them Guitar Hero. The girls like to try and play, of course there are only a few songs and a few characters that they can even use on it. Jeremy and I like to play that after the girls go to bed and yes it is addicting even for me! The girls put on a puppet show for me and Nana. We had some cake and opened gifts!! Okay....I don't have pictures of the other 2 girls for their first dentist appointments but since I actually had my camera with me and the dental hygienist asked me if I had my camera, I decided to take a couple of pictures. Myah did very good sitting still while she had her teeth cleaned. We had an appointment for all 5 of us, I think we were at the dentist office for over 3 hours, I'm pretty sure we won't do that again! The girls are doing a great job brushing and we had a good report of no cavities, just what mom wanted to hear!
