Snow Day

This past Friday we had a snow day at our house. The weather was predicting a lot more snow then we actually got, but we did end up with 5 inches which lead to no school. I was so anxious to go out and play in the snow and can you believe it I only had 1 taker who wanted to go out with me can you guess who it was?


Was it Makayla....Nope





Was it Marissa.....nope
Can you tell by this picture....she was sick?


Myah wanted to go out and play with mommy....and we had fun!




She got to do all the things she wanted without anyone telling her what to do....



Here is our attempt at making a snowman, the snow wasn't so good for packing, but we had fun anyways!


So every kid wants to eat some snow, but now that we have a dog, there were some specific directions given as to where you can eat the snow from and stay away from any yellow snow, gross I know!

WoW....that was fast, how did you get the driveway shoveled off so fast, oh yes...it was the nice neighbors who offered us their snowblower.

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
