Nana & Papa

Nana & Papa came out to visit us today. It always seems like our visits are way to short but we were glad to have them here! The girls were really excited to see them. I think as soon as they got here Myah asked Nana to play barbies with her. That seems to be her favorite thing to do right now!






  • After lunch, the guys played a little Tiger Woods on the Wii, I won't mention who won that! (Sorry dad)

  • Nana and the girls played barbies.

  • Then we had to show them Guitar Hero. The girls like to try and play, of course there are only a few songs and a few characters that they can even use on it. Jeremy and I like to play that after the girls go to bed and yes it is addicting even for me!

  • The girls put on a puppet show for me and Nana.

  • We had some cake and opened gifts!! Thanks for the gifts mom and dad!!

Sounds like a lot of fun with the family. Your girls are adorable. Haley can already kick my butt on guitar hero, but she plays a lot! Wished we lived closer, Haley loves to play puppets and dolls!

From our home to yours....

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. My favorite ornaments are the ones that are homemade by the girls! This is our big tree that is more formally decorated and is in our living room. This is our third year with an artificial tree which is definitely less messy but we have had lots of fun with the pre-lite l

1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
