Welcome to the 80's.....


We surprised my friend Kelly for her birthday, okay so maybe we didn't surprise her but I don't think she knew we were going to be dressed like we were. It was fun shopping for my 80's outfit for the evening. I went to the Goodwill thinking I would find everything and couldn't find anything, then I went to Wal-Mart and got the whole outfit there, see if only I would have hung on to some of those clothes I wouldn't have to re-buy them now. Who would of known that some of that stuff is back in style! The girls thought I looked pretty cute, I even crimped my hair, they kept asking me if I could do that to their hair. It was a fun night!

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Each year we buy the girls an ornament that represents something from the year for that child. It is a tradition that I have continued from my childhood. Hello.....is there anybody out there?

Yes....I know it has been quite some time since I have been on here to blog. Let me just say that there has been a lot going on......Birthdays, Holidays, sick kids, snow storms and oh yes.....a big move half way across the country. I have lots to share with you but before I do I am just curious who is still following me? 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
