Makayla's Birthday

While we were on vacation we got to celebrate Makayla's 7th birthday. She thought we went to Myrtle Beach just to celebrate her birthday and now we have Myah asking if we can go to Myrtle Beach for her birthday too. Anyways, we celebrated her birthday with a few presents and some Dunkin Donuts for breakfast then enjoyed the rest of the day at the beach. I think if you would ask her, she would say she had a pretty good birthday. That night for dinner we had mac-n-cheese and hot dogs, per Makayla's request. All the restaurants she could have picked and she wanted mac-n-cheese and hot dogs.






She got her own Bible from her mom & dad,
she was pretty excited to finally have her own!

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! This is leading into the family room... This tree is in our family room and it is decorated with all of our family ornaments. Hello.....is there anybody out there?

Yes....I know it has been quite some time since I have been on here to blog. Let me just say that there has been a lot going on......Birthdays, Holidays, sick kids, snow storms and oh yes.....a big move half way across the country. I have lots to share with you but before I do I am just curious who is still following me? 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
