Love you whole bunches

Yesterday while Myah and I were waiting in the van for the girls to come out of school she said to me, "Mommy I love you whole bunches and Daddy whole bunches and sissies a little". I said you do, well I love you whole bunches too, but why do you only love your sissies a little? She said, "because sometimes they are bossy". I have laughed about that several times since then, but I got to thinking, what if my Heavenly Father loved me according to what I deserved. I am so glad that He does not say, Sheila today I only love you a little because you are complaining a lot and being a little selfish. He loves me on my good days and my bad days. I am so thankful that His love is perfect even when I am not!

Oh, out of the mouths of babes....I'm pretty sure if we were loved by God based on performance, I would not be loved at all!

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. So here are a few pictures of our home decorated for Christmas. As you walk in our front door we have this little tree sitting in our entry way As you can see I really like snowman! Hello.....is there anybody out there?

Yes....I know it has been quite some time since I have been on here to blog. Let me just say that there has been a lot going on......Birthdays, Holidays, sick kids, snow storms and oh yes.....a big move half way across the country. I have lots to share with you but before I do I am just curious who is still following me? 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
