Gingerbread House

For the past few years, Grammy has been making a gingerbread house with the girls. The girls look forward to doing this with her. Here are a few pictures of our gingerbread house.....I think our house lasted 1 day, not because it feel apart, but because the girls were ready to eat it and the only reason it lasted that long is because we had to leave the house that night. So the next day when we got back over to the house the girls were ready to eat it. I don't know how they can eat all of that sugar but they seemed to enjoy it! It was making me sick watching and I love sweets!
No....they didn't eat the whole thing, I'm not sure they even could have.

Yay!for Grammy!! That is one great looking gingerbread house!

Caleb was looking at the pictures and said, "Milk! Milk!" I thought he knew it would taste good with milk. But then I realized he was telling me it was the same shape as the milk cartons at school. Ha!

I am TOTALLY into the whole "doing the gingerbread house with the grandparents" thing. Maybe I should rent some for next year. :) Nathan and I did one with the kids this year, and W O W did we ever need a gpt or two around to help.

Welcome to our home at Christmas. When I heard that Boomama was going to be having a Christmas Tour of Homes , I thought that sounded like so much fun because so many of our family and friends aren't able to make it out to visit us during the Christmas season. Hello.....is there anybody out there?

Yes....I know it has been quite some time since I have been on here to blog. Let me just say that there has been a lot going on......Birthdays, Holidays, sick kids, snow storms and oh yes.....a big move half way across the country. I have lots to share with you but before I do I am just curious who is still following me? 1 Year Later

Just the other day I was looking back at some of my posts and realized that I started our family blog 1 year ago this month. I can't believe it has already been a year. My first post was about celebrating the 4th of July at Mark and Jane's. On Friday we will be heading out to Mark and Jane's for another great 4th with our friends. I have really enjoyed keeping up with our family blog. I hope that you have also enjoyed reading each of my posts. My main reason for doing this blog was to keep in touch with our friends and family through various postings.
