At the lake

Some friends from church offered us a few days away at their lake home so we graciously accepted the offer and were so glad to get away for a few days. We had planned to go on a family camping trip after Jeremy got back from his missions trip but when this opportunity came up we thought this sounded like way more fun! Here are a few pictures from our time there. Thanks again Kevin and Stacy for letting us stay, we had a blast!

The girls had so much fun on the boat, and were not scared of the water. One night we drove the boat out to the middle of the lake and all jumped in and went swimming, with our life jackets on of course!

We are still laughing about this picture. One of the nights we were there the jet ski died while Jeremy was out with it, so it had to be towed back by another boater. Well then the very next night something happened to the boat, and the boat had to be towed in by another boater as well. We were already wondering what the neighbors were thinking and wonderng if our friends were ever gonna want us back or not. The last day we were there, Jeremy got out the big comfy float for me and made me a glass of ice tea and pushed me out and said he didn't want to see me for a while, meaning he really wanted me to go and relax. Well i think i might have dosed off and when i woke-up i realized i had drifted far from home. So i tried making my way back, but wasn't getting very far, so next thing i new, here came Jeremy with the canoe ready to tow his wife back, i think we laughed the whole way back!

Daddy had fun taking the girls out on the Jet Ski, they are still talking about that one!

Aren't they cute!

One night after dinner, Jeremy and the girls went fishing off of the dock . They each got to catch a fish, the girls even touched the fish, but daddy put the bait on and took the fish off.

The next day we bought some bigger worms and took the boat out. Guess who caught a fish.....jeremy really wasn't ready to leave until he caught one, but we had to get going.

After church on Sunday we had a message from some friends asking if they could stop by on their way to Cedar Point. They didn't realize we were in Michigan but it really only ended up being about 25 mins the opposite direction, so they came by to say hi. It was good to see them and the girls had so much fun with them!!

Looks like a really fun time. I wish we were friends with Kevin and Stacy... haha. I can't believe how blonde Makayla's hair is in the picture of the three girls. I like the picture when jeremy is holding the fish. Myah is staring at the fish looking kinda sad. Love you guys!
